Too Cool for School New Art Class Impasto Review

As well absurd for school'due south Rodin line has always had a special place in my eye.  Then once again, the contour powder is a cult favourite then its not actually that surprisingly I like it also.  If you lot'd like to see a review on all three of the art grade line products, click here ! Last year, they finally came out with a new product for the line and it is super unique!  The lumineuse varnish is a trio cream highlighter/ strobing kit and I just cruel in love with the concept.  Kind of belatedly to reviewing this tehe but we are finally hither sho, don't JUDGE MEEEE!!  Oh also just to proceed you upwards to date, they as well released a new shade for their trio chroma from fine art grade by Rodin if yous wanted to know ;).  Okay, allow's become into the review!

How to use:
i. Apply Clear Sparkle all over face up before base of operations makeup for natural glow-from-within look.
two. Mix Clear Sparkle either with Glow Pink or Uniforn Blueish for calculation more book to T-zone or C-zone.
three. Mix Glow Pink and Unicorn Blue for brightening and highlighting your all-time feature.

Packaging:
Packaging is the verbal same as the other artclass products with the round compact.  But this time, we go a gorgeous holographic sticker that honestly, is kind of blinding half the time.  I usually take products I'm reviewing for the week on my calculator desk and god damn, my eyeballs human being.  This is a sticker and then I wouldn't put it in your purse without protection if you don't want the compact to go all scratched upwards.

To open the compact, simply just pop it open up from the squeeze in the front.  Inside is a nice sized mirror  which yous could run across about one-half your face with.  Sometimes I forget my total sized mirror and would have to rely on these mirrors sigh.

Color + Pigmentation:
Of course when I look at the palette, my centre shoots straight to the lavender shade.  AHH! Lavender + yellow undertone is a dream come true.

The only confusing part of this palette is the center.  They said in the description that the clear gives you a "luminous and sparkle glow"… what….  It is more than like a useless balm that really didn't need to be there.  It isn't moisturizing, doesn't actually give me any type of sheen and there are fat particles of glitter.  No thanks…

To our left side is "glow pinkish" which is a cool tone light peach champagne shade with super fine sliver shimmers.  It is gorgeous on the skin and blends into my base make up effortlessly.  The finish look is super natural just still has a nice punch.

Equally for the lavender (aka. Unicorn bluish), it actually isn't a blue but more of a lavender, which totally works in my favour.  It has a cool undertone, light lavender shade with super fine regal and pink shimmers.  Once more, this also blends into the skin and looks super natural but when the light hits my cheeks, lowkey BAM imperial in your confront.

Texture + stop:
They definitely perfected the texture of this cream highlight.  Information technology doesn't have that weird greasy texture but it also isn't a super thick foam like Mac cream colours.  The texture is quite like to Holika Holika's sweet peko milky jelly luminizer and it merely blends into the peel like a dream!  I definitely do not recommend using this on top of powdered pare since it will move around your base of operations makeup.

Permit'south effort this out!

My base of operations brand upward is washed ( Missha glow tension cushion ) also as my blush.  But waiting on highlighter!

For this side of my face, I'thou just using my fingers and applying "glow pink (left side, light beige champagne shade).

The effects is super pretty and honestly reminds me of my beloved Mac cream color base in Hush which is a rose gilded highlighter.

And hither is the lavender highlight.  I'm not certain if y'all can catch the purple undertone but when the lite hits, you tin can definitely tell information technology is more of a lavender hue.

And hither is the finished wait.  This highlight might not be for those who love that Instagram await that is more assuming and more dramatic for the photographic camera.  I become for products and look that I tin can really go out the business firm with so this highlighter is perfect for me.

Lasting power:
This foam highlighter lasts nearly 4-5 hours earlier I'd take to reapply.  But at that indicate, my base of operations make up already dries down a chip so I'thousand not really surprised.  Nigh likely the moisture just sank into my skin and took the highlighter along with it.

Fragrance?:
No fragrance detected

Pro:

-clear balm is useless -_-

Overall thoughts:
I'm surprised I really like this highlighting trio.  I was thinking this might be mediocre or just a gimmick since their powder highlighter was a slight thwarting.  The texture works well on the skin, pigmented enough that you can meet information technology on the peel but non so dumbo in shimmers that people can clearly see a streak on the tops of your cheeks.  Overall super impressed and hopefully they could revise this design and get rid of that useless clear shit in the center.
